CHARACTER DESING
CHOCO
He is the bold twin, fearless in the face of anything. This daring nature sometimes makes him a bit cruel and disrespectful toward nature. He is highly curious and enjoys hunting animals for sport, which is forbidden in their culture.
CACAO:
He is the twin who thinks twice before doing anything. He loves observing nature and respects it deeply, and he often tries to get his brother to do the same.
CHOCO (OLDER):
Also called “Abuelo” in the short film, he is a calm elder carrying a deep sorrow in his heart, having learned the hard way that nature must be respected, or tragedy may follow. At this stage of his life, he is contemplative and wise, yet he deeply loves his grandson and is determined to guide him along the right path according to their cultural traditions.
ÓLA
the red Macaw in Malekú´s native languaje, is a sacred bird in the Malekú culture, as it is the great messenger of one of their main deities, Tocú. It is also said that when one of these birds perches on a home or a person, it signals that that person is close to death.
